The Realist viola pickup also known as the Realist copperhead transducer for viola, is a black wrapped copper element with a 1/4″ clamp-on jack.
The realist has a very transparent sound color and texture with an unmatched dynamic response when playing both arco and pizzicato. It sounds more like the instrument it’s amplifying than any other pickup on the market. There is no need to re-attenuate amp settings between arco and pizzicato playing.
This 1/4″ jack model is ideal and recommended for players who use wireless systems. The standard 1/4″ output makes it easier to find patch cables. Simple installation with no change to the instrument required.
