Viola Rosin
Viola rosin is a substance that is applied on the hair of the viola bow to make it sticky. Rosining is designed to help produce adequate friction between the bow hair and the viola strings to make the proper sound when the bow is pulled across the strings. As a rule of thumb, the larger the string of the instrument, the softer the rosin mix should be. Violin is harder than Cello… and Cello is harder than Double Bass rosin etc. Check out our wide range of viola rosins here at Bass Bags, available in various designs and prices. We have other viola accessories available at our viola shop as well.
