Double Bass Stools

Every double bass stool we sell has been carefully selected with double bassists in mind. All of the double bass stools you can buy from us are adjustable so you can be sure to get the right playing height.

Bass stools like the 9290 and 9280 are ideal for adults and children alike. This is because children playing smaller size and mini basses need a stool that will adjust to a lower level which is possible with the 9290/80’s wide height range.  The added bonus is that as the child grows the bass stool will also grow with them as they progress through bass sizes, meaning one bass stool for multiple sizes of double bass. That said all the bass stools sold here go high enough for adults playing 3/4 and 4/4 basses.

For schools, we recommend the 9290 double bass stool because of its screw height adjustment. This makes adjusting the stool height between pupils quick and easy with minimum wear on the bass stool for longevity.
