Chromcor Viola strings have a single filament steel core that is wound with Chrome steel. This gives them a bright sound with a big tone and a very easy response. Playing in or settling time with these strings is very quick with them tuning immediately.
Due to the Chrome steel construction of these strings, they last a long time. They are not affected by perspiration from the hand and the Chrome steel cannot corrode.
All Chromcor viola strings are medium tension/gauge.
The Chromcor A strings all have a removable ball end suiting either loop or ball fittings. The D, G and C strings are all ball end.
