Pirastro Piranito Viola strings are great quality student viola strings. They have a single filament steel core that is wound with Chrome steel. This produces a lovely bright sound with no metallic harshness. They are very well priced and aimed at students and beginners. Their response is very easy and they tune immediately.
The A strings have a removable ball end to suit both loop and ball fittings. The D, G and C strings all have a ball end.
