This premium J.T Lamy bow is crafted in the style of Dominique Peccatte under the supervision of  a Master Archetier.  J.T.Lamy ‘Peccatte’ bow blanks are crafted from the finest Pernambuco tonewood seasoned for over 5 years with each blank tested to ensure superb resonance and musicality.

Only the finest quality materials are selected for use in the making of these bows. Bow frogs are cut from fine Burmese Ebony and hand-finished with ‘925’ sterling silver fittings. The grips are made from high quality leather and wound with ‘925’ Silver wire, and the bow hair is Mongolian horsetail, prized for its thickness and strength.

These French style bows are crafted to equal the weightier construction favoured by Peccatte meaning they are a little more sturdy and allow the musician to obtain greater volume and rich articulation when using, well suited to the concert hall of their time.
