The strings are balanced across the set, allowing players to achieve precise articulation and clarity without sacrificing volume or beauty of tone.

Kaplan Solo strings are a great upgrade from Helicore Solo double bass strings that are at the budget end of the solo strings market.

Scaled to fit 3/4 size bass with a playing length of 41 3/4 inches (1060mm), medium tension strings are optimized for a majority of players.
