Pirastro Obligato Solo double bass strings have a core made from a modern synthetic multifilament fibre which is wound with chrome steel. They are bright, brilliant and focused and have a growly tone which is especially true for the F#-string. They have a very quick response and are suitable for both arco and pizzicato playing. In summary, they are an exceptional and well-balanced set of bass strings which are completely impervious to changes in temperature and humidity.
