Shadow Electronics was founded in Germany in 1971. They invented pickups for acoustic musical instruments and have been successfully manufacturing them in Germany ever since.
We also offer a pickup fitting service for our customers. Some Shadow double bass pickups require a bit of minor alteration to the instrument’s bridge wings during the installation process. If you’re not comfortable fitting the pickup yourself, we are more than happy to do it for you.
