Thomastik Dominant double bass strings are made by Thomastik-Infeld in Austria with a highly flexible, multi-strand synthetic core and are chrome wound. They provide the tonal warmth and the feel of a gut string whilst not being affected by changes in humidity. The Dominant bass strings have a sound that is soft and clear with very stable intonation, they are also rich in overtones. Dominants are a medium tension 3/4 size medium tension strings, they are also available in solo tuning.

Made in Austria by Thomastik Infeld.
