Description
The core of Pirastro’s Pizzicato string is made from sheep gut and wound, by hand in the traditional way. The winding is made from silver-plated copper wire which gives the strings a smooth surface.
Designed especially for pizzicato playing, their sound is bright and growly. They have a low string tension and a long sustain.
Pirastro Pizzicato strings are made to order and can take some time to make. This ensures that you receive the freshest gut strings possible. (No point selecting next day delivery).
