The best tuner just got better! The Snark ST 2 is the new version of the SN-2 which until now was our favorite tuner. The ST stands for “Super Tight” regarding its super accurate tuning capabilities.
Snark have made the following improvements on the ST-2 over the SN-2: It has super fast and super accurate new software and a bright new high definition display which is viewable from any angle.
The Snark ST-2 will work with all instruments tuning using the built-in microphone or vibration sensor. It also has a metronome built in, and you can calibrate its pitch.
The ST 2 can detect an extended range of frequencies and can be used for all instruments including guitar. The ST 2 is chromatic and senses the vibrations of the instrument that it is attached to. In addition, it has an internal microphone that can be used for note detection instead of the vibration sensor. You can switch between MIC/VIB on the ST 2 to select the pitch detection means you choose to use.
The Snark ST-2 comes with a CR2032 battery included.
Snarks remain the world’s number 1 selling tuner.

We Use the Snark ST 2 It’s Our Favorite
We use the ST-2 ourselves; carrying an ST 2 on our van for use when we are delivering cellos and double basses to customers. We’ve found nothing that does the job better than an ST 2 regarding speed and reliability. You can accurately tune an instrument quickly even with background noise by using the vibration sensor setting.
