The best tuner just got better! The Snark ST 8 is the new version of the ST-2 which until now was our favourite tuner. The ST stands for “Super Tight” regarding its super accurate tuning capabilities.
Snark have made the following improvements on the ST-8 over the ST-2: It has super fast and super accurate new software and a bright new high definition display which is viewable from any angle.
The Snark ST-8 will work with all instruments tuning using the built-in vibration sensor. It also has a metronome built in, and you can calibrate its pitch. The pitch calibration feature allows you to set the reference pitch of concert A (440Hz) in the range 415Hz to 466Hz.
The ST 2 can detect an extended range of frequencies and can be used for all instruments including guitar. The ST 8 is chromatic and senses the vibrations of the instrument to which it is attached. As soon as you play a note the Snark ST 8 colour display will show the note that you are playing and an indication of how close to the pitch you are.
The Snark ST-8 comes with a CR2032 battery included.
