This case is bought by many players because of its flexibility. It can be used as suggested as a double case for oboe and cor anglais but it can also be used to accommodate oboe and d’amore, d’amore and CA, two Cor Anglais or even up to three oboes although it is designed for two ! This is possible because the individual joint sections are sewn but not specifically shaped, the joint sections held in place by foam backed velour without putting pressure on the kaywork. The bells are accommodated at the top of the case in the sections provided.The case will also accommodate baroque instruments.

 

The case can be carried normally by means of the two handles provided or by using the shoulder strap which fits onto the anchorage points sewn into the case. It can also be used as a backpack by attaching the padded straps provided.

 

The outer of the case is made from a high quality hard wearing plastic backed water resistant cordura material which has a matt finish on the exterior. The interior of the case is made from foam backed crushed velour which provides excellent protection in addition to the rigid sections which protect the outer sections of the case.  All materials used are of the highest quality and durability.
