This case has been designed with Kim Walker to meet the needs of travelling Bassoonists worldwide. Whilst offering great protection with its rigid inserts and generous padding the case is extremely lightweight weighing in at just over 3KG. It has a special pouch for crooks/bocals which is stowed in the front pocket, an accessories pouch stowed in the main part of the case and a large pocket on the rear of the case. The case has carry handles on the front which are balanced so that the case can be carried like a holdall or as a backpack with the straps on the rear.
