This case has 12mm of foam padding. It is lined and has a brushed nylon finish on the inside and a waterproof layer on the outside of the case. The zip runs from the scroll down the full length of the side of the case and round past the end pin. This makes the case very easy to put on and take off the instrument. The case has both bow and music pockets.
